Characterizing the Initial State in XeXe and PbPb Collisions using Multiparticle Cumulants
/CMS Collaboration
The nuclear shape and size dependences of Fourier flow harmonics ($v_{n}$, $n = 2,3,4$) in XeXe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{{\mathrm{NN}}}} = 5.44~\mathrm{TeV}$ and PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{{\mathrm{NN}}}} = 5.36~\mathrm{TeV}$ are studied using the CMS detector. For the first time, correlations between higher-power moments of two or three flow harmonics, as a function of collision centrality, are compared in XeXe and PbPb collisions.

First $k_{\mathrm{T}}$ scan of the Lund jet plane in heavy-ion collisions to test the factorization of the vacuum and medium parton shower
/CMS Collaboration
This note presents the first relative transverse momentum ($k_{\mathrm{T}}$) scan of the Lund jet plane for high-energy jets in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions at the LHC at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV. We report the fully corrected angular distribution of the primary emissions with the highest $k_{\mathrm{T}}$ in two different ranges of $k_{\mathrm{T}}$ for anti-$k_{\mathrm{T}}$ jets with distance parameter $R=0.4$ and transverse momentum in the range $200 < p_{\mathrm{T}}^\text{jet} < 1000$ GeV.

A new method for correcting the substructure of multi-prong jets using Lund jet plane reweighting in the CMS experiment
/CMS Collaboration
Many analyses at the CERN LHC employ techniques exploiting the substructure of large-radius jets. These techniques aim to identify large-radius jets originating from heavy resonances produced with high momenta that decay into multiple quarks or gluons.

Measurements of the Upsilon(1S) meson production in association with a Z boson in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s)=13 TeV
/CMS Collaboration
The first measurement of the associated production of an $\Upsilon$(1S) meson with a Z boson using the four-muon final state is presented. The analysis is based on proton-proton data at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$, collected with the CMS detector in 2016--2018 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $138~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$.

ttH multilepton (differential)
/CMS Collaboration
The production of a Higgs (H) boson in association with two top quarks ($\mathrm{t\bar{t}H}$) in final states containing multiple electrons, muons, or hadronically decaying tau leptons is measured using proton-proton collisions recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13~TeV with the CMS detector. The analyzed data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 138 $\mathrm{fb^{-1}}$. The analysis aims at events that contain $\mathrm{H \rightarrow WW}$ or $\mathrm{H \rightarrow} \tau \tau$ decays and the top quarks decay into final states with leptons or hadrons.

Constraining nPDFs using dijet production in pPb collisions at 8.16 TeV with the CMS experiment
/CMS Collaboration
The dijet pseudorapidity ($\eta^{\text{dijet}}$) distribution in proton-lead ($\text{pPb}$) collisions is sensitive to nuclear modifications of parton distribution functions (PDFs). Additionally, the measurement of the $\eta^{\text{dijet}}$ dependence of the average transverse momenta of dijets provides a precise method for investigating the energy scale of partonic interactions and their momentum transfer dependence ($Q^{2}$).

Measurement of the tau g-2 factor in ultraperipheral PbPb collisions recorded by the CMS experiment

Evidence of the medium response with Z-hadron correlations in PbPb and pp collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 5.02 TeV
